Herbalife
In February 1980, Mark Hughes started his business of selling the Herbalife weight loss product from the trunk of his car. Within two years Herbalife had already crossed the $2,000,000 mark in sales and also opened a distributorship out of USA, in Canada. In 1986 Herbalife got listed in NASDAQ as well. The scene was a very amusing one - independent distributors driving their cars displaying the inquisitive slogan "Lose weight now, ask me how!".
